Frank Guy also known as "GUYNESS" is a Japan-based Ghanaian musician who does Afropop,Dancehall and Reggae music.
Birthnamed Frank Nti Anin, he was born in Kumasi in the Ashanti Region to Mrs. Yaa Dufie and Mr. Kofi Nti Anin. He schooled there for a while and futhered to the Greater Accra Region where he discovered and nursed his singing skills. He started writing music by himself at the age of 15.
After years of grooming himself and his skills, he participated in the Nescafé African Revelation(2008) here in Ghana before moving to japan to live with his father. There, he perfected his talent and never dropped the music-mantle as he performed along side other recognized international acts like Sean Kingston, Souljaboy, Iyaz , Lloyd and a few more.
As a writer, composer & singer, Frank Guy has had massive collaboration pieces with local artistes, such as the lovely & talented Becca amongst others. Internationally he worked with America’s DJ UNK which was released in Japan in December 2013 along side a video for it.
Last year 2015, He released "Only you " as his first official cover song to the famous ' Love Rocks ' by Sarkodie & Samini which brought him into the limelight in the Ghanaian music scene. Then performed at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards Nominees' Jam and was nominated and won awards for being the BEST SONG WRITER and BEST REGGAE ARTISTE in 2015 at the Ghana Underground Music Awards(GUMA) months after.
His music is making waves now on all major radio & tv stations across Ghana and his latest track ‘For Love’ featuring the talented songstress Raquel is now trending.
